When I was in Matheran last, I was on a business trip and was meeting up with potential clients, so didn’t get the time to enjoy the beauty of the place. We had booked one of the best conference halls in Matheran, at Adamo for our clients, and it was a good decision, since we ended-up getting the accounts for us. But with all that running around, I got next to no sleep for a few nights, despite the rooms being more than just comfortable.
The most I got to do was enjoy the drive to and from Mumbai, so it wasn’t a complete waste of the journey. I had decided on the return trip that I must come back to this place, and if possible book the same hotel for my family as well. I called them up three weeks before I was to travel there, and got my family and me booked into one of their nicest suites. It was also very affordable, keeping in mind their many amenities and perks. When we reached, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our rooms for a little bit of rest, after a speedy check in. I quite liked the room and the view from it. The hotel staff was extremely professional, and helped us out with our sightseeing woes. Now I know why they are being termed to be the best resort in Matheran.
Their food was also to die for, especially the non-vegetarian items, which we relished to the last drop of curry. Cannot imagine having tasted anything better in a restaurant.
